NM GOP Senators Eat Their Own!

On March 6th at quarter to 2pm, NM State Senator Pat Woods recused himself from voting on SB 489 bill or amendments. The recusal was on grounds of personal benefit if the bill passed.
Senator Craig Brandt of Rio Rancho took to the floor to object and challenged the entire notion of recusals in the NM State Senate.

This was the second time to which Sen. Woods' recusal was objected. Two days prior, in the Senate Corporations & Transportation Committee, Sen. William Sharer objected to Sen. Woods.
