Tyron Woodley was on the precipice of turning a corner. He arguably would've been the second-best welterweight of all time had he defeated Kamaru Usman at UFC 235. After years of feuding with the UFC and Dana White, he appeared to achieve promotional peace. Following his win over Darren Till, he finally started to gain recognition for his greatness from the fan base. His friendship with rising star Ben Askren also seemed to buoy him. Plus, he was still headed for a showdown with former interim champion Colby Covington. Right at the moment everything was coming together for him, Usman ended up winning. Will he get a rematch? Is the fight with Colby gone forever? I don't know, but the timing on this loss is a real gut punch. -- MERCH:
