8. Jessie Hall
Jessie Hall was six-years-old when she was forced to take on radical brain surgery to save her life. The surgery took place at Johns Hopkins Hospital in Texas in 2008.
She was such a happy go lucky girl, but on the inside, she was suffering greatly from a brain disease that caused seizures and loss of movement. This disease was called Rasmussen’s encephalitis.

For three years, they lived like this. They were saved by the Children First Foundation, and were adopted by a new loving mother when she found the girls in a Bangladeshi orphanage.
