8. Jessie Hall
Jessie Hall was six-years-old when she was forced to take on radical brain surgery to save her life. The surgery took place at Johns Hopkins Hospital in Texas in 2008.
She was such a happy go lucky girl, but on the inside, she was suffering greatly from a brain disease that caused seizures and loss of movement. This disease was called Rasmussen’s encephalitis.

Tom Lemm at fifteen years old, was forced to have his entire left arm, from shoulder to fingertip removed. This was because he had a tumor that would spread of not dealt with. However, this left him with no shoulder.
