Vacation support program for workers boosts domestic travel

근로자 휴가지원사업, 국내여행 50%이상 늘었다

The government's vacation support program for workers at small or medium-sized firms seems to have helped boost local tourism last year.
The Korea Tourism Organization today released the results of a survey on some one thousand participants of the program.
54 percent of them took time off for a vacation in Korea and another 40 percent changed their overseas vacation plans to a domestic ones.
Employees at SMEs can use the program to receive some 85 U.S. dollars worth of points to spend on local travel programs.
