Amelia (played by Italia Ricci) is cast to play in a modern remake of the classic "Roman Holiday", a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. What she did not expect is to fall in love with reporter/porter/writer Philip (played by Peter Porte), who has been tasked to write a story about Amelia's casting journey and experience in Rome, but throughout his encounters with Amelia, he realized how strong, generous and beautiful Amelia is. Amelia, at the same time, has also formed a strong bond with Philip. Hallmark's 'Rome in Love' is a romantic, heart warming love story and the fact that it is filmed in Italy makes it even better, you get to experience not only the Italian culture, architecture in this film but also a beautiful story between Amelia and Philip.
